Mr. Paul Weaver Price, age 99, of the Pleasant Gardens community in Marion, NC, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center in Asheville, NC. Paul was born in Rutherford County on August 27, 1920 to the late Frank C. Price and Ethel Price. Most of all, his family is what brought him the greatest joy, especially his grandchildren. Paul is preceded in death by his sister, Ruby Price Keith; son, Paul Allison Price and by his wife of 62 years, Mary Frances Hope Price.
Left to cherish Paul’s memory are his two children, Frank A. Price of Marion and Amy Worley and husband David of Marion; four grandchildren, Melissa Tyo, Jill Tyo, Lisa Price Burnette and husband Danny, and Luke Price; and numerous nieces and nephews.
